Yahoo!/Wired Magazine – Collaboration with illustrator Daniel Krall to create story, concept, and character. From there: scriptwriting, copywriting, revisions, and direct client consultation.

Maryland Daily Record – Partnership with Orange Element to craft the paper’s “Filter the Noise” brand campaign from the ground up. Strategy and concept, client presentation and feedback sessions, and copywriting/message development. Samples coming soon.

Baltimore County Tourism – Worked with the Orange Element team working to craft Baltimore County’s tourism campaign. Official launch was December, 2010 — website here.

W.R. Grace & Co. – Partnership with Orange Element to produce an internally-facing corporate video designed to educate and inspire Grace’s global team. Strategy/message development and scriptwriting.

The finished product was selected as a Communicator Award recipient.

Orioles Magazine – I conceived, pitched, researched, wrote, and revised this piece for the team’s in-house magazine in close partnership with their communications/PR staff.

The Golf Club at South River – Copywriting for print in partnership with Orange Element.

Erickson Retirement Communities – Copywriting for direct mail and long-form journalism (article about creativity and aging featuring legendary designers Milton Glaser and Paula Scher).

The Loss Column – In late 2006 I launched a site devoted to independent, intelligent Baltimore sports coverage. Since then it has been linked and/or mentioned by the Baltimore Sun, the Washington Post, Deadspin.com, Yahoo! sports, Baltimore Magazine, and a slate of smaller sites and publications. The site currently ranks #1 in Google for the search term “Baltimore sports blog”. 

Charm City Current/Baltimore Sun – “Gentlemanly Means Pursued” is a blog where I produce web content for Charm City Current, which is a publishing arm of the Baltimore Sun.

Author John Eisenberg – I worked closely with longtime Baltimore author/sportswriter John Eisenberg to provide him with a new web presence. We started out by brainstorming on strategy and ideas, and from there I set about building him a site that would allow him to both stand out from his peers and also post his own original content with ease.
